Memorial Union
The IPA Symposium will take place in Memorial Union from Wednesday, October 14, to mid-day on Friday, October 16.
Plenaries will take place in Tripp Commons on the second floor. Coffee, tea, and break food will be served in the National Pan-Hellenic Council Room (NPHC), also on the second floor. During breaks, we ask that you take your refreshments back into Tripp Commons, leaving the space around the food and beverage tables in NPHC clear to prevent traffic jams.
The registration desk will be located in Profile Room next to Tripp Commons.
The Welcome Reception and Poster Session will take place on Wednesday evening at 6 pm in Tripp Commons. Weather permitting, the Tripp Patio will also be open during the reception.
Parallel sessions will take place in Tripp Commons, Multicultural Greek Council Room (4th floor), and Old Madison Room (3rd floor). All parallel rooms are on the east side of the building.
There will not be designated co-working spaces for the IPA Symposium. However, Memorial Union has a variety of lounges, study spaces, restaurants, and other public areas that are perfect for independent work, small impromptu gatherings, and co-working.
