Description
The discovery of high-energy astrophysical
neutrinos, recognized by the 2026 Nobel Prize in Physics, has opened a
new era of multimessenger astrophysics. In this talk, I will review
what we have learned about the origins of high-energy cosmic
neutrinos, highlighting the theoretical implications of recent
observations. In particular, I will discuss recent developments
concerning gamma-ray-dark extragalactic sources and neutrino emission
from the Galactic plane, emphasizing the power of multimessenger
approaches. Finally, I will outline key outstanding questions and
future frontiers.
