Description
In this plenary talk, I will provide an overview of the Rubin Target-of-Opportunity (ToO) program and main science goals, describe past Rubin follow-ups of an interstellar object, two gravitational-wave events, and one IceCube neutrino candidate (eventually retracted) and discuss a community-driven set of recommendations (Rubin ToO 2026 report) for Rubin ToO follow-up in the coming year and beyond.
