Description

IceCube has detected neutrino emission from the Galactic plane with a significance of 5.7σ, although no individual Galactic sources have yet been identified as contributors. Meanwhile, gamma-ray observatories, including HAWC, LHAASO, and H.E.S.S., have identified Galactic sources emitting photons above 100 TeV. If these gamma rays are produced through hadronic interactions, they should be accompanied by neutrinos. Detecting such neutrinos would provide compelling evidence for the hadronic nature of these sources. In this contribution, we use the IceCubeE Multi-flavor Astrophysical Neutrino (ICEMAN) dataset to search for such emission. ICEMAN combines three largely independent event selections to provide improved all-sky sensitivity. We present searches for neutrino emission from individual gamma-ray sources detected above 100 TeV, as well as from the extended Cygnus Cocoon region.
