Description
The sources of astrophysical high-energy neutrinos are still under debate. Astrophysical transients, including peculiar supernovae and tidal disruption events, are plausible candidates. We examine whether these optical transients are the source of neutrinos by analyzing optical observational data to IceCube neutrino alerts. We follow a blind analysis policy to robustly evaluate the background rate and true positive rate of our analysis. We will discuss the effectiveness of blind analysis by comparing the analyses results with and without it, prospects with the future Rubin observations to constrain contribution of TDEs, and power of multiplet alerts to constrain optical transients.
