WIPAC
The retreat will be hosted at the Wisconsin IceCube Particle Astrophysics Center (WIPAC) located at 222 West Washington Ave. The room will change each day (and probably throughout the day), but will be indicated on the schedule. Wifi is available at WIPAC and across campus via eduroam.
WIPAC is located just blocks from the Capitol and is roughly a 20-minute walk from Memorial Union. WIPAC can also be reached from campus by bus (see below).
A light breakfast will be provided on some days. Coffee and espresso will be provided.

Transportation
The residence halls are within walking distance of Route 80, a free campus bus (schedule here). The stops at Observatory at Elm (3 on the Metro Transit map linked above) are near Dejope Hall, and Stop 1 outside Memorial Union is about a 15-minute walk from the WIPAC office.
Madison Metro Transit offers both local lines and Bus Rapid Transit (BRT) routes (schedule here). Single rides are $2 each. Cash is not accepted on the BRT. Single tickets or a 1-day pass for the BRT can be purchased at BRT stations. Local lines accept Fast Fare passes or cash. Fast Fare passes can be ordered in advance via mail or picked up at Metro Transit's administrative offices, or at Madison Public Library locations. Fares paid through a Fast Fare pass are capped at $5/day and $16.25/week.
