The ARA Five Station Analysis Retreat will be May 19-30 and hosted at the Wisconsin IceCube Particle Astrophysics Center (WIPAC) at UW-Madison.
This will be a working retreat aimed at bringing together the final pieces of the five station analysis for an unblinding request. Given this narrow focus, we expect only analyzers directly involved in the five station analysis will attend.
The meeting will be made up of focused work sessions in small groups and intermittent check-ins with the full group. The meeting will occur daily 9am-5pm (tentative), except for a one-day break on Sunday, May 18. We will likely organize some group outings and dinners along the way.
Given the substantial commitment of time and resources required to make this meeting happen, we ask that participants cancel as many of their regular meetings as possible. We expect the retreat to be a focused period of hard work, and for participants to arrive on time each day ready to work.
