DESCRIPTION:The 8th Workshop of SCAR AAA 2025\nSeptember 15 - 19\, 2025\n
 Phuket\, Thailand\n\n\nAstronomy & Astrophysics from Antarctica (AAA) is a
 n Expert Group of SCAR\, the Scientific Committee on Antarctic Research. 
 The objectives of AAA are to provide a venue to discuss\, promote and coor
 dinate astronomical and astrophysical activities in Antarctica to optimize
  outcomes from international investments\, and to maximize the opportuniti
 es for productive interactions with other disciplines.\n\nThis is the eigh
 th meeting in the series. Prior meetings include AAA2011 in Sydney\, Aus
 tralia\; AAA2013 at the Certosa di Pontignano\, Italy\; AAA2015 in Haw
 aii\, USA\; AAA2017 in Chiang Mai\, Thailand\; AAA2019 in the Aosta Va
 lley\, Italy\; AAA2021 held remotely and hosted by the University of Wisc
 onsin–Madison\, USA\; and AAA2023 in Svalbard\, Norway. Building on th
 e success of these prior SCAR AAA meetings\, and the XXXV SCAR Biennial Me
 eting Open Science Conference theme ("Where the Poles come together")\, th
 ose with interest in either the Arctic or Antarctic research are encourage
 d to attend. \n\nThe workshop will take place at Dusit Thani Laguna Phu
 ket in Phuket\, Thailand.\n\nThe abstract submission deadline was July 15 
 and is now closed.\n\nVirtual attendance is available\, and also has a reg
 istration fee.\n\nThe registration deadline has been extended to August 15
